The word processing portion of iWork, Pages, is cumbersome, confusing and unusable.
I bought iWork primarily to use as a word processor, and really wanted to like it. The praise that Apple heaps on itself is very persuasive, and I went for it. After you use it for a while, it starts

Works as advertized, a bit noisy at full speed which you will most likely not need. Low speed is more than adequate for most situations.

My 18-month old son *loves* this toy. It is good hand/eye coordination as well as cause and effect.
The only minor thing that I have to say about it is that it is cheaply made. It could stand to be a bit sturdier. However, it more than makes up for it in the fun department.
